Sea Kayaking Programs
Sea Kayaking programs include a combination of kayaking skills, general sea safety factors and if required specialist areas including geology, environmental studies. These programs are designed to meet the needs of the specific educational institution. Suitable locations, type and duration of activities are determined by negotiation according to the skill level of participants, curriculum objectives, safety issues and time tabling requirements.
Special Interest Educational Programs
Programs can be customised to suit individual or group interests. A combination of kayaking skills, general sea safety factors and specialist areas including geology, environmental studies.
Canoeing Programs
Canoeing programs of 3 to 10 days duration are offered on the Murray River. Suitable locations, type and duration of activities are determined by negotiation according to the skill level of participants, curriculum objectives, safety issues and time tabling requirements.
Cross Country Skiing & Snow Shoeing Programs
Winter programs cover snow travel, snow craft, weather, navigation and safety precautions and are supported by fully equipped four-wheel drives. Such programs are designed to meet the needs of the specific educational institution. Suitable locations, type and duration of activities are determined by negotiation according to the skill level of participants, curriculum objectives, safety issues and time tabling requirements.
Special Interest Educational Programs
Steep snow safety and skiing programs can be customised to suit individual or group interests. Programs can include rope work, crampon & ice axe, avalanche (snow stability) training.
Sailing Programs
Sailing programs are designed around expeditions. Simple sailing techniques and safety in open boats are incorporated into courses tailored to the level of skill of the participants curriculum objectives, safety issues and time tabling requirements.
Equipment Hire
We have a wide range of outdoor equipment for hire in conjunction with our programs or subject to availability, for use on other programs conducted by suitably qualified staff. Equipment available for hire includes sea kayaks (50 seats), canoes (20) open sailing boats, RIB, cross country skis (metal edged cable binding 20), snowshoes (50), packs (12), 12-14ft rafts and frames (5) and Sports Rafts (15).
